The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of this website (accountinghelpdesk.pl) is Business Assistance Holding Sp. z o.o. What data we process and for what purpose

In connection with the use of this website and contact with our firm, we process the following categories of personal data:

• Data provided in the contact form (first name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, message content) – in order to reply to your enquiry and to take steps prior to entering into an agreement for accounting/tax services.
• Data provided in the recruitment form (Careers section) – in order to carry out the recruitment process, on the basis of the separate consent given when the application is sent.
• Technical data and identifiers stored in cookies – for the purposes described in the “Cookies” section below.

Legal bases for processing

We process personal data on the basis of:

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract and to perform it;
• Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – on the basis of consent, including for recruitment purposes and optional cookies (analytical and marketing);
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – in order to pursue the legitimate interests of the Controller, for example ensuring the security of the website and pursuing possible claims.

Data retention period

We store data for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and, once that purpose has been achieved, for the period resulting from legal provisions (for example tax and accounting rules) or until any claims become time-barred. Data from the recruitment form is processed for the duration of the given recruitment process, unless the candidate consents to it being processed in future recruitment processes as well.

Data recipients

Data may be entrusted to entities cooperating with the Controller to the extent necessary for the proper provision of services, including IT and hosting providers and providers of the tools used to operate the forms and the cookie consent. Data is not transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area, unless the provider concerned ensures an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.

Rights of data subjects

Every data subject has the right to access their data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, transfer it, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR.

Cookies

The website uses cookies, that is small text files saved on the user’s device. We distinguish the following categories of cookies:

• Necessary – required for the website to work properly (for example remembering the choice made regarding cookie consent). They do not require the user’s consent.
• Functional – allowing the user’s preferences to be remembered and improving the browsing experience.
• Analytical and marketing – used only with the user’s consent, in order to analyse website traffic and for marketing activities, should such tools be implemented in the future.

Consent to the use of cookies other than necessary ones is given by the user through the cookie banner displayed on the first visit to the website. Consent can be withdrawn or changed at any time by reopening the cookie settings (the icon visible in the corner of the page) or by changing the settings of the web browser, including by blocking the saving of cookies entirely – which may, however, affect the functionality of the website.

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Policy, in particular in connection with changes in legislation or in the scope of the website’s functionality. The current version of the Policy is always available at this address.
